Overview —
在生活步調快速的現代社會,人們通常選擇外食以減省時間與準備食物的成本。然而,高油高鹽的外食,常常讓人們難以管理飲食狀態,以至於導致身體肥胖,甚至是健康失衡。Diet Delight是一個飲食管理助手 App,讓人們即便外食,也能方便地進行個人化的飲食管理。

In the fast-paced modern society, people often choose to eat out to save time and cost of food preparation. However, the high oil and salt content of eating out often makes it difficult for people to manage their diets, which can lead to obesity and even health imbalances.
Diet Delight is a dietary management assistant that allows users to conveniently personalize their diets while they are on the go.

Brainstormed User Flow —



使用者進入 Diet Delight 後,會進入首頁,也就是「Dashboard」。在這個頁面中,它會提供使用者飲食的總覽狀態。此外,用戶只需點擊卡片,App 即可根據飲食狀態推薦食物,從而攝取到營養。
When users enter the app, they would come to the home page, also called "dashboard". In this page, it provides the overview status of the user's diet. Furthermore, users can access the nutrients by simply tapping on the metric card, the system can recommend food based on the status.以記錄飲食的功能爲例;用餐前,使用者可以拍攝食物的照片,系統會自動識別並記錄卡路里、脂肪等營養素。所有的資料記錄將幫助系統建立資料庫,以瞭解使用者的飲食狀況。
When having meal before, users can take photo, and system algo would recognise and record to the calories, fats etc. All the records would help the system to build a database to understand to dietary status of user.從第三個導覽 — Guide for Diet,在這裏,使用者可以找到跟健康相關的幫助與教程。在該模組中,系統預設根據首次註冊時設定的目標產生建議,包括食物、餐廳類型和運動建議。
From the third nav button, users can access the guide of getting healthy. In the page, the system can generate recommendation from the objectives set from the first enrolment, including food, types of restaurant and the active tips.

VI Design —






品牌識別上,希望傳達親和力與活力,讓每個人都能在飲食中找到樂趣與價值。 不論是希望增重、減重,或是維持現狀,都能在 Diet Delight App 中找到適合的方案。
經過與朋友和潛在用戶的討論,我選用了暖色系的橘色作為主色調,象徵溫暖與活力。同時,加入充滿生命力的紅色與綠色,分別代表健康與生機。
視覺上,我採用了一個形似荷包蛋的 Logo。 這個設計象徵美好的早晨,代表著飲食計畫的開始。我們希望使用者在我們的陪伴下,不僅能有效管理飲食,更能從中感受到對健康生活的期待。
品牌識別上,希望傳達親和力與活力,讓每個人都能在飲食中找到樂趣與價值。 不論是希望增重、減重,或是維持現狀,都能在 Diet Delight App 中找到適合的方案。

In terms of brand identity, because the theme of diet is for all people, no matter whether they want to gain weight, lose weight or maintain, they can already find fun and value in it. Therefore, we would like affinity and vitality to be the main impression of the main vision, and we also thought about people's impression of a good, healthy life to find the most suitable answer.
After discussing with potential users, I decided to use warm orange as the base colour, plus vibrant red and green, which represent health and vitality respectively. For the image, I used a logo that looks like a ‘poached egg’, which means that a good morning is the beginning of the day, and I hope that users will not only manage but also feel hope in the diet plan.

Onboarding form was tested and worked out more than 3 times, the process of the implementation was required and in order to identify of people's needed precisely.At the stage, the system get to collect data and build the users' tailor dietary profile.

Reflection —
這是我大學三年級時的個人專案,透過這個專案,我參與了一個 App 產品的設計過程,從競品分析、使用者訪談、研究與資訊架構思考,都讓我對 UIUX 數位產品的領域產生了極大的興趣。若是我有更多的時間來執行專案的話,我會想與工程師合作,專注在使用者體驗,執行更多的迭代來驗證設計邏輯,讓產品不只是單方面的輸出,更是以使用者為中心,成為更為生動的服務。
這是我大學三年級時的個人專案,透過這個專案,我參與了一個 App 產品的設計過程,從競品分析、使用者訪談、研究與資訊架構思考,都讓我對 UIUX 數位產品的領域產生了極大的興趣。若是我有更多的時間來執行專案的話,我會想與工程師合作,專注在使用者體驗,執行更多的迭代來驗證設計邏輯,讓產品不只是單方面的輸出,更是以使用者為中心,成為更為生動的服務。

Through this project, I was involved in the design process of an app product, from competitor analysis, user interviews, research, and information architecture thinking, all of which made me very interested in the field of UIUX digital products. If I had more time to work on the project, I would like to collaborate with engineers to focus on the user experience and perform more iterations to validate the design logic, so that the product is not just a one-sided output, but also a user-centred and more lively service.
